Last of the summer garden

This weekend we removed the rest of the plants from the garden because we might be getting frost soon.  I didn't want to lose any good homegrown veggies!  Here are the remaining peppers and green tomatoes.  Just have to ripen these up!  OR....maybe I'll fry 'em!  Bill has never had a fried green tomato.  He doesn't know what he's missing.  :-)

 Look at how many there were! Oh, and the black thingy is a purple bell pepper.  That little guy and his green cousin near him are going right into a salad!
