The two logos below are what we've come up with for our farm. We want to get an egg license from SC so that we have the ability to sell eggs off of the property, then subsequently become a "SC Certified Farm Product". Part of the licensing process is that we have to submit a proof of our farm's "logo" with all required information that would be placed on labels for the egg cartons.
Please let us know which one you prefer -- we'd love to hear feedback! Colors? Fonts? Anything? readability? This will have to fit on about a 3" x 4" sticker.

How exciting!!! I'm thrilled about this venture!
ReplyDeleteI like Buckley Acres from number 1, but on logo 2. I'd take the banner from 2 away and insert Buckley Acres from 1. Where you have Home of the Happy Hens, I wonder if you could put it in an egg shape rather than a rectangle.
Maybe have life is better on the farm in a script?
Is that a rooster? Maybe a hen instead?
These are just ideas of course, to fiddle with. See what you like.
Simple, yet fun is the look I'd go for. Modern farm. The chicken scratch lady looks too antiquated, in my opinion.
I won't feel bad if you don't like anything I suggested! Just my opinions, it's your farm!

Brian's input on logo:
ReplyDeleteHe likes 'Buckley Acres' from label 1.
But would like to see the farm image from label 2 under it (but not in a banner), and that could be your logo and you could use it on egg carton labels, etc. does that make sense?
